Sculptures

My small sculptures are constructed from things that I find in various places- pieces of wood and wire, bits of fabric, yarn and ribbon or packaging materials and paper mache. I am inspired by bright colored things, by folk art from around the world and by modern and historical tribal and ethnic art. I use the human figure as a basic form to express emotions, thoughts and situations common to all people.
